Livingston became a town on February 5, 1813 and was named after the first governor of NJ William Livingston. The town currently has over 27,000 residents and nine schools serving grades K-12; Livingston High School received the blue ribbon award and is also the fourteenth ranked school in NJ.
Livingston has a myriad of opportunities for those who chose public transportation such as NJ Transit, Lakeland Bus Lines and the Path to name a few. It is home to The Morris Museum, Garden State Discovery Museum, The Community Theater of Morristown and for kids Fun N' Motion and that's just to name a few things this beautiful town has to offer.
